Courses

Both Sherman L. Cohn and Michael H. Cohen have taught specialized seminars on health law and policy pertinent to complementary, alternative, and integrative medicine.

Professor Cohn offers his course at Georgetown Law School, while Professor Cohen offers his course at Harvard School of Public Health. Together, they have developed a course syllabus (each slightly modified for the particular institution) with references for students in the field.

Please be sure to see the new on-line course by Michael H. Cohen, JD and Midge Murphy, JD entitled Ethics for Practitioners of Acupuncture and Traditional Oriental Medicine: Learning Practice Boundaries. Diplomates of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) seeking recertification will receive four (4) Professional Development Activity points for completing the entire course.
